Legacy of a Dreamer:  Book 1

I really enjoyed this book. It was different and had me captivated from the very beginning.  Chantal is a lost girl and is having to live in a foster home. Chantal doesn’t know why she was taken from her family. All she has left with only her imaginary friends and her nightmares. Chantal now must depend on herself. When she turns 18 she is forced to leave her foster home and live on her own. When she gets her own place her imaginary friends come to life. In the real world, she learns her nightmares are more like reality. Chantal’s life starts to change when she meets a young boy, and follows him into the subway station. Then things start to change. This book pulls you in and it left me wanting more! I highly recommend this book. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Dreams of the Cursed:  Book 2

I thought the second book of the Dreamers series was really good. It had a lot of action and answered a lot of things from book one. I think that Allie Jean did a great job on this book. It had a lot of detail and I loved learning more about Chantal and her nightmares. It would be so hard to have nightmares that were unexplained and scary. It is even scarier when you find out that the monsters in your dreams are real. I would be horrified. I recommend this series! It is definitely a good read! I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Allie Jean was born with an overactive imagination. She spent her childhood inventing stories and telling tales. Her mind never shut down, even while she slept. Vivid dreams containing extensive, elaborate plot lines of good overcoming evil villains captured her nightly visions, lingering into her waking hours and filling the pages of her well-loved bounded diaries. She was encouraged by her parents, even at a young age, to write down her tales, and it has remained a somewhat secret hobby. As a busy wife, mother and critical care nurse, Allie’s love of storytelling has been reborn through the adventures of her unforgettable characters.
