Broken Perfection...

Synopsis

Twenty-seven year old Reese Turner has a great job, great friends and all around great life. Not wanting anyone to penetrate the carefully constructed walls around her heart, she prefers the casual company of a man over the entanglement of a relationship.

Until she walks into the grand opening of Nashville's new hot restaurant, Forty-One.

Owner of David Enterprises, James David tops most of the wealthiest, youngest, most successful not to mention best looking lists published each year. Sitting atop of a close to a billion dollar record production company, he's used to calling the shots.

Until he meets Reese Turner.

After one meeting, he decides his Nashville home is far more appealing than his Manhattan penthouse. Spending his days in his Nashville office, he's determined to spend his nights with Reese.

She recognizes the danger to her heart and knows she should run the other direction, but there's something beyond his piercing blue eyes that draw her in. After a few "chance" meetings, he insinuates himself into every facet of her life with his no nonsense take charge personality. With her reluctance shattered she learns quickly there's no chance of remaining intact in the end.

But who said anything about an end?

Excerpt

I exhale loudly, making the quick decision to be honest. “Because I dated him.”
“Were you serious with him?” he asks, his eyes never leaving the road.
“I thought so,” I reply just above a whisper as I recall the pain so vividly.

“What does that mean?” James asks, alternating his attention from me to the road.
“He’s the only other man I’ve ever loved,” I say weakly, thoughts running rampant in my head. Not changing direction, I feel the power of his sports car hugging the winding asphalt under it.

“Who’s the other?”

My head snaps in his direction, not understanding the question. “What?” I ask.
“You said he’s the only other man you’ve loved. Who’s the other?” He slows the car and pulls over to the side of the road. He faces me, waiting for my answer.

My heart thuds strong in my chest, beating my rib cage from inside. I haven’t told him I loved him, but not because I don’t. I look up to meet his twinkling blue eyes.

“You. You are the only man I love. I thought what I felt for him was love until I met and fell in love with you.”

MeetTheAuthor

I'm a wife and mother of two beautiful children. Being from sunny south Florida, I never spent much time inside reading. I decided to give it a try with a highly talked about trilogy and found myself devouring the pages like a mad woman. Although I knew I was hooked with that trilogy, the hundreds of books I read in the following year proved it.

Through my love of reading sparked the inspiration to try my hand at writing. I wrote two full length novels as a hobby and only through my husbands encouragement did I ever consider self publishing.
