Maybe Somday Review...

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover, a passionate tale of friendship, betrayal, and romance.

At twenty-two years old, Sydney has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her best friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter's cheating on her—and she is left trying to decide what to do next.

Sydney becomes captivated by Ridge, her mysterious neighbor. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to his playing his guitar every day out on his balcony. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one…

From the author of the New York Times bestsellers Slammed, Point of Retreat, Hopeless, This Girl, and Losing HopeMaybe Someday is destined to be another bestseller and long-lasting fan favorite.

Holy Freaking Crap!!!! I truly enjoyed this book and have no words to explain why but I will try. This book covers just about every emotion out there. I cried, I laughed and I wanted to slap the characters. Sometimes I did all three at the same time, not a lot of authors can do that. I was a little confused by the prolouge but then it jumps back and tells you what led up to the events in the prolouge before moving onto what happens after that, so it winds up making sense. I loved that actual songs were used (or created) for this book. I actually bought the soundtrack to listen to each song as I read. I actually fell in love with the song I'm In Trouble as I read it in the book and then listened to it.
Character wise I was a little conflicted. Sydney and Ridge are unique. I don't know that I have ever read about a character that even comes close to Ridge and I don't know that I can even really tell you why without spoilers (and I don't want to spoil it for those of you who haven't read it yet). I loved all the characters but there were a few times where I was conflicted by their actions.
I’ve just got to say that this book is hands down one of the best books I’ve read this year. Colleen Hoover sure knows how to write a book that keeps you engaged and wanting more. I absolutely loved this book. It was easy to connect with the characters and kept me guessing as to what was going to happen next.
There were a lot of quippy one liners and pranks going on in this book and it just made it even more interesting in my book. I don't know why but one of the lines that made me laugh the most was: "Where did the strong Sydney go? Oh well, I'll look for her later." This was an internal thought of Sydney's and it comes at the perfect time. A little bit of humor in a sad part of the book. This book has become one of my top favorites and I can't wait to read Maybe Not because it should be just as great! 5 brilliant stars! Reviewed by Kayla:
Sydney has a good life, she has a boyfriend of two years, a best friend and is going to college and working. Then she finds out that Hunter is cheating on her with Tori. She really has no choice in what she is going to do. Sydney admires her mysterious neighbor Ridge. She loves when he is playing his guitar on his balcony. She likes to make up lyrics to his songs. There is just something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore her. He believes that she is his muse. There is a lot of things that happen in this book and I find that I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but I think that everyone should read this book because it is truly amazing and I loved every minute of reading it. I give it 5 out of 5 stars!
