Hollow City Graphic Novel Review...

After fleeing an army of terrible monsters, Jacob Portman and his peculiar friends find themselves lost at sea, but the only person who might be able to get them ashore safely, their illustrious headmistress Miss Peregrine, is stuck in the form of a bird! Hoping to find a way to get Miss Peregrine back to normal--or as normal as a peculiar can get--the children journey to London. But no matter where they go, trouble lurks after them... Cassandra Jean's evocative visuals once again work seamlessly with Hollow City's vintage photographs and Ransom Rigg's twisting fantasy narrative to make for a wholly immersive reading experience for fans of the original novels, fans graphic novels, and fans of reading great stories alike!

REVIEW!

I am glad I waited until I got both graphic novels before reading them.  As soon as I finished the first book I immediately picked up this book.  I was once again not disappointed.

This book is full of amazing and awe worthy art work.  I have fallen even further in love with everything.  I may have actually cried at the end of this book because it was over and probably because it was about 3 am.  I look forward to getting my hands on the third graphic novel when it comes out (at least I don't think it is available yet).  Anyways, the story and art work continue in such a great way.  You are introduced to several new characters who join the group of peculiar children.

This book is yet another magical journey through the world of these peculiar children.  Will they find a place where they belong and where they can be safe again?  Will Jacob ever go back to his family or will he live with the peculiars forever?  These are just a few things I hope are answered in the next book.  I can't wait to read or listen to the novel for this book!

5 peculiar stars!
