Meat Review...

Just one taste isn't enough…

I ran into Rex Keene—literally—when I was trying to catch my flight and his muscled, tattooed arms stopped my fall.
Then our flight gets canceled, and we're stranded in the same hotel room together...it ended up being the steamiest night of my life.
All I knew is that I had to see him again.

I just didn’t expect him to show up a week later in the restaurant I manage…as our new head chef.
But the generous, tender man I spent that night with is gone; instead he’s arrogant, demanding, and terrorizing the staff.
But he won’t give up until we’re together – and I’m not sure I can stay away.
Which man is real?
Who is Rex Keene?

From bestselling author Opal Carew, take a bite of Meat.

REVIEW!!!!

While I enjoyed this book like all of Opal’s other books it was kind of a let down for me.
So they meet in an airport and when she returns to work she finds out that he is the new head chef at the hotel she works at.  But is there more to the story than meets the eye?  Will the truth come out before it is meant to?  Will they remain together after everything?
I liked the characters, because as always I felt like I connected with them.  The plot however is where I had some issues.  I felt that while the general story line was a good one it was predictable and it reminded me of the TV show Undercover Boss.  I understand why he had to do the whole undercover thing but I felt like it kind of befuddled the plot.  However, I was unable to predict who the thief was until the very end and I had been attempting.  That kind of surprised me.
All in all it was good but again I wasn’t completely thrilled with it.
