I See London, I See France Review...

I see London, I see France
I see Sydney’s underpants.

Nineteen-year-old Sydney has the perfect summer mapped out. She’s spending the next four and half weeks traveling through Europe with her childhood best friend, Leela. Their plans include Eiffel-Tower selfies, eating cocco gelato, and making out with très hot strangers. Her plans do not include Leela’s cheating ex-boyfriend showing up on the flight to London, falling for the cheating ex-boyfriend’s très hot friend, monitoring her mother’s spiraling mental health via texts, or feeling like the rope in a friendship tug-of-war.

In this hilarious and unforgettable adventure, New York Times bestselling author Sarah Mlynowski tells the story of a girl learning to navigate secret romances, thorny relationships, and the London Tube. As Sydney zigzags through Amsterdam, Switzerland, Italy, and France, she must learn when to hold on, when to keep moving, and when to jump into the Riviera… wearing only her polka dot underpants.

REVIEW!!!!

This book was a fun little book.  I will definitely be looking for more by this author.

The book follows Sydney and friends as they fall in love, make new friends and travel Europe.  The whole time Sydney is worrying about her anxiety riddled mother and the younger sister she left behind in Maryland and falling in love with somebody who lives in Canada.  Leela is getting back together with her ex-boyfriend, hooking up with him and then dumping him again.  The two of them are an interesting mix and then you add in Sydney’s friend in Paris Kat and the boys, Matt and Jackson, to make an interesting story.

I hope there is a second book.  While it wasn’t a cliffhanger I would love to know what happens with Sydney’s family and her relationship with Jackson.  I am intrigued to know if Kat dumps the boyfriend who is state-side in order to be with her boss in Paris.  What happens to Matt and Leela once they get back to school in Canada.  So many questions about the future of these characters yet the book was all wrapped up in the end.

I absolutely fell in love with the characters and the story.  I have been to Europe (Germany mostly) and it is gorgeous.  So to see these characters traveling through Europe and experiencing these great things was so much fun.  The pace and flow were absolutely perfect.  I loved the authors writing style as well.  This was a perfect New Adult book and I would totally recommend it to anybody looking for a fun read.
